RGS General Contracting was built around a simple frustration a lot of homeowners share: hiring a roofer, then a painter, then a remodeler, then a landscaper — and managing five separate schedules for what should be one project. Somebody has to be the one who notices that the tile cannot go down until the plumbing is signed off, and on most jobs that somebody ends up being the homeowner.
Since 1997, we've grown into a licensed, insured general contractor that keeps roofing, remodeling, outdoor construction, painting & drywall, and new-build trades under one company. That means one point of contact, one schedule, and one team accountable for the whole job — not just their piece of it.
That structure is also why we can be honest about scope. A crew that only sells roofs has one answer to every roof question. Because we carry five trades, we have no reason to talk a client into the larger job, and we will say so when a repair will outlast the money a replacement would cost.

Service Area
Based in Dallas, building across the Metroplex
We work as a general contractor throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, roughly 50 miles out from Dallas in every direction. That covers the northern suburbs — Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson and Celina — along with Denton, Lewisville, Little Elm, Flower Mound and Carrollton to the north-west.
West of Dallas we build in Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Fort Worth, Southlake and Mansfield. East and south-east we cover Garland, Mesquite, Rockwall and Forney. Different parts of the Metroplex bring different problems: hail belts to the north drive most of our roofing work, while the older housing stock closer to Dallas tends to mean remodels, foundation-adjacent repairs and rewiring behind the finish work.
Because we hold the licence and insurance ourselves, permitting is handled city by city as part of the job — each municipality in the Metroplex runs its own inspection process, and that co-ordination is ours to manage, not yours.
