Residential Roof Replacement in Mesquite, TX
A damaged shingle roof on a single-story brick home — tarped over, with the decking open to the attic underneath — stripped off completely and replaced, with the lawn and entry protected throughout and the old roof hauled away in a trailer parked on site.
Before & After
Same house, new roof
Under the tarps
On Video · Before the Work
A walk across the damaged roof
Filmed on the roof before the tear-off. Under the tarps, shingles were missing and the decking had broken open between the rafters, leaving the attic insulation exposed to the weather — damage you only find by getting up on the roof.

What We Did
A full replacement, not a patch
The old shingles had reached the end of their life — worn, loose and lifting across the whole roof — so patching one slope would only have moved the next leak somewhere else. When we arrived, parts of the roof were already under temporary tarps, and under one of them the decking had broken open right through to the attic insulation. We stripped the roof completely and put a new shingle roof on the whole house.
A tear-off is messy work over someone's front yard, so the site was set up for it first: tarps over the lawn, beds and driveway, and a dump trailer parked out front so debris went straight from the roof into it instead of piling up on the grass.
